Heartland STEAM 2012 Sponsorship Opportunities
ABATE of NE is requesting your support. We are hosting the annual motorcycle rights & awareness conference known as Heartland STEAM (Seminar to Educate and Motivate). The event is held by members of the Heartland group consisting of ABATE chapters from seven states. The Heartland region consists of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North and South Dakota.
This years conference it taking place in Omaha, Nebraska, at the Marriott Inn, on March 23-25, 2012. The conference will be attended by Motorcycle rights leaders and members throughout the Heartland region and other states motorcycle rights organizations, the AMA (American Motorcycle Association), the MRF (Motorcycle Riders Foundation), and other avid Motorcyclists. This even provides those attending with opportunities to exchange ideas on legislative issues and safety and awareness programs.
Another goal of the event is to raise funds for the Motorcycle Riders Foundation. The MRF functions in much the same way as the state rights organizations, but at a federal level. The MRF has several full time staff who work on our issues in Washington. As a small group, they are unable to hold activities that many of the state groups can, such as fun runs, bike shows, rallies, etc. They rely heavily on donations that the states can provide them.
To this end, we are offering 2 ways for you to support this event. One would be to become a sponsor. Please see the information below regarding different levels of sponsorship and their benefits. The other way to show your support is to purchase a business card spot in our STEAM program. These spots are only $25 and will go on a first come, first serve basis.
